These data files are not easily accessed like they used to be, they require being extracted from larger game install files. Structure for the file is based on "BGFA 1.05" which is being used on some other EA games, although likely with a somewhat altered format. The file extension for the portraits (and some others) archive is "ast" The portraits are stored in a completely different archive than what we had with 04-08. So I guess portraits are a good entry point for modding Madden 19 resources since there isn't an exisiting editor that deals specifically with these Madden 19 files.
